Tax Manager

Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with all members of the tax practice including partners on client engagements.
    • Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources.
    • To develop & expand strong client relationships and exceptional technical taxation skills.
    • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff/senior accountants.
    • Ability to assume a leadership role in the firm’s core tax practice, including scheduling, conflict resolution, planning and work flow management.


Requirements

    • Work collaboratively with all members of the tax practice including partners on client engagements
    • Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources
    • Develop & expand strong client relationships and exceptional technical taxation skills
    • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff/senior accountants
    • Ability to assume a leadership role in the firm’s core tax practice, including scheduling, planning and work flow management


IT Assurance Associate

Responsibilities

    • Ability to perform extensive travel, 30% to 50% of time, both domestic and international
    • Deal with a variety of audit, compliance, risk and technology issues as it relates to audit reports, consulting engagements and other IT related engagements
    • Work under the supervision of managers and partners on timely completion of IT Assurance and internal control consulting engagements in accordance with Firm Standards
    • Undertake engagement planning, budgeting and time management, working with clients


Requirements

    • BS/BA in Accounting or Computer Science or relevant technical field (information security coursework is beneficial)
    • IT and Security certifications (e.g., MCP, GPEN, CEH, CCNA) preferred
    • One to three years of public accounting, IT Consulting or IT internal control experience
    • Competent understanding of IP networks, Microsoft platforms, Linux/Unix and general IT infrastructure preferred


Tax Senior

Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with all members of the tax practice including partners on client engagements
    • Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources
    • To develop & expand strong client relationships and exceptional technical taxation skills


Requirements

    • Three to five years of general tax experience, preferably with a strong understanding of trust and business flow through entity taxation, as well as experience working with high-net worth individuals and families, corporate executives, C-Corps, and/or owners of closely held businesses
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills for technical correspondence
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
    • Masters of Accounting-Tax a plus, CPA license required


Assurance Senior

Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with all members of the assurance practice including partners on client engagements
    • Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources
    • Develop & expand strong client relationships and exceptional technical assurance skills
    • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff accountants
    • Ability to assume leadership role in the firm’s core assurance practice, including scheduling, conflict resolution, planning and work flow management


Requirements

    • Two to four years of general audit experience, preferably with a strong understanding of US GAAP with diverse industry experience
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
    • Masters of Accounting a plus, CPA license required


Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

    • Work under supervision of seniors, managers, and partners on assurance, business consulting and tax engagements
    • Develop technical skills in assurance, accounting, and taxation
    • Develop working knowledge of firm software and technology resources
    • Work toward passing CPA exam and obtaining certification
    • Develop successful client relationships


Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
    • Minimum 3.3 GPA
    • Eligibility to sit for CPA exam upon graduation highly preferred


Tax Executive Assistant

Responsibilities

    • Proactively manage the day to day needs of our Partners; ensure they are prepared and organized for internal and external meetings.
    • Manage firm workflow database to ensure completion of all tax compliance deadlines. Run and provide accurate and timely reports.
    • Assist with the client billing process.
    • Manage the electronic submission process of returns and extensions with the IRS.
    • Set up tax system for organizers, preparation of all parts and assembly, and distribution to accountants.
    • Compose and edit letters, memos, meeting minutes and other documents.
    • Prepare and review monthly expense reports.
    • Schedule, prepare room, and order meals for tax department meetings.
    • Prepare travel arrangements for Partners and staff.
    • Attend tax department meetings and training events when requested.
    • Maintain internal Tax department calendar of annual due dates.
    • Edit and maintain Tax manuals.
    • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

    • Driven professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with well with others.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify problems and find solutions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have clear and concise communication abilities and possess a friendly, energetic, professional speaking voice.
    • Honesty, integrity, and commitment to preserving confidentiality.
    • Cooperative, team player with a “can-do” approach.
    • BS/BA degree or equivalent and relevant work experience.
    • Minimum two years’ experience in professional services field.
