Tax Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with all members of the tax practice including partners on client engagements.
  • Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources.
  • To develop & expand strong client relationships and exceptional technical taxation skills.
  • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff/senior accountants.
  • Ability to assume a leadership role in the firm’s core tax practice, including scheduling, conflict resolution, planning and work flow management.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of general tax experience, preferably with at least five years’ experience in individual, trust and business flow through entity taxation, as well as experience working with high-net worth individuals and families, corporate executives, and/or owners of closely held businesses.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills for technical correspondence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
  • Masters of Accounting-Tax a plus, CPA license required.
  • Business development experience, through targeted relationship building and client referrals, a plus.

IT ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to perform extensive travel, 30% to 50% of time, both domestic and international
  • Deal with a variety of audit, compliance, risk and technology issues as it relates to audit reports, consulting engagements and other IT related engagements
  • Work under the supervision of managers and partners on timely completion of IT Assurance and internal control consulting engagements in accordance with Firm Standards
  • Undertake engagement planning, budgeting and time management, working with clients

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Computer Science or relevant technical field (information security coursework is beneficial)
  • IT and Security certifications (e.g., MCP, GPEN, CEH, CCNA) preferred
  • One to three years of public accounting, IT Consulting or IT internal control experience
  • Competent understanding of IP networks, Microsoft platforms, Linux/Unix and general IT infrastructure preferred

TAX SENIOR

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of general tax experience, preferably with a strong understanding of trust and business flow through entity taxation, as well as experience working with high-net worth individuals and families, corporate executives, C-Corps, and/or owners of closely held businesses.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills for technical correspondence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
  • Masters of Accounting-Tax a plus, CPA license required.

AUDIT SENIOR

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with all members of the audit practice including partners on client engagements.
  • Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources.
  • To develop & expand strong client relationships and exceptional technical audit/assurance skills.
  • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff accountants.
  • Ability to assume leadership role in the firm’s core audit practice, including scheduling, conflict resolution, planning and work flow management.

Requirements:

  • Two to four years of general audit experience, preferably with a strong understanding of US GAAP with diverse industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
  • Masters of Accounting a plus, CPA license required
  • Business development experience, through targeted relationship building and client referrals, a plus

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities:

  • Work under supervision of seniors, managers, and partners on audit, business consulting and tax engagements
  • Develop technical skills in audit, accounting, and taxation
  • Develop working knowledge of firm software and technology resources
  • Work toward passing CPA exam and obtaining immediate certification
  • Develop successful client relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
  • Minimum 3.3 GPA
  • Eligibility to sit for CPA exam upon graduation highly preferred
