Jared helps clients build and preserve their wealth. His depth of knowledge about small business, real estate, capital markets, and tax integration permits him to liberate his clients from the stress and worry of managing their wealth.

Jared leads Delap Wealth Advisory LLC and is a partner and Chief Development Officer at Delap LLP. He’s focused on helping business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate investors, and high-net-worth families align their values with their capital. He is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). Jared is the host of Delap’s podcast, Success That Lasts, where he explores the complicated topic of enduring and fulfilling success.

Jared attended the University of Oregon on a full football scholarship and, during his four years on campus, received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in both finance and accounting. He also earned athletic All-America honors, Academic All-Conference honors, and set numerous football records (like his 59-yard field goal against UCLA, leading to a 21-20 Oregon victory). These experiences helped to shape his determination, willingness to prepare, capacity to compete, poise under pressure, grit, and tenacity to deliver client results.

Jared often speaks publicly and is a frequent commentator for publications on the topics of wealth preservation, financial strategy, entrepreneurship, and legacy planning. He’s presented and contributed to Wells Fargo Small Biz Summit, Oregon Society of CPAs, Mentors360, and Cru.

Jared and his wife, Esther, enjoy raising their three children in the city of Lake Oswego. Jared and Esther have been a long-time foster family. Their love for children has extended to service projects, taking their family to Africa several times to be a hands-on advocate for the 4 million orphaned children in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
