Arrive Late

Q: I can’t get there on the first day — is this OK?
A:

No. As with any educational course, missing any class time can impact the understanding of the topic.

Q: I need to leave early on the last day — is this OK?
A:

Allowed, but not recommended. As with any educational course, missing any class time can impact the understanding of the topic.

CPE hours are adjusted accordingly for actual time attended, i.e., 50 minutes of class time equals 1 CPE hour as specified by NASBA.

There is no prorated refund for missed time.

Q: Due to flight limitations I may need to leave early — is this OK?
A:

Allowed, but not recommended. As with any educational course, missing any class time can impact the understanding of the topic.

Preferred Hotel

Q: Do I have to stay at the hotel listed?
A:

No. Although Delap has a preferred rate at the designated hotel, attendees may choose any hotel they wish.

Q: Rooms are no longer available at the preferred hotel(s). What do I do?
A:

Please contact the hotel directly. The contact handling the ASC X9 relationship with the hotel is Kaelan Landis at klandis@westinannapolis.com or 410-972-4361.

Q: Is there a dress code?
A:

Business casual, but wear layers as hotel meeting rooms are frequently cold.

Q: I see you offer meals during the courses. I have dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate these?
A:

Yes. Please inform the instructor on the 1st day of class.

Certificate Delivery

Q: When will I get my CPE certificate?
A:

After the class each student receives a CPE certificate electronically. Should a student miss excessive class time, CPE hours are adjusted accordingly for actual time attended, i.e., 50 minutes of class time equals 1 CPE hour as specified by NASBA.

Q: Does CPE from Delap’s courses count towards other CPE requirements for other industry designations, e.g. CISSP, CISA, CPA, CEH, etc?
A:

As a NASBA sponsored class, our class offerings may be accepted by other credential issuing entities.

The issuing entity of the credential must be contacted to verify if the Delap courses could count towards their respective CPE requirements.

Q: Which classes will fulfill my CTGA CPE?
A:

Any of the Delap offered classes will fulfill the ‘refresher class’ requirements for NYCE Payments Network LLC, PULSE®, and STAR® Network. (‘Refresher class’ listing)

Q: Can my CPA CPE count towards my CTGA CPE requirements?
A:

No.

Maintaining Certification - General

Q: I took the exam and passed two years ago, do I need to take it again?
A:

No; however, you must maintain the minimum 8 hours of qualified CPE every 24 months to maintain your CTGA designation.

Q: How long can I go without a refresher and still maintain my certification?
A:

24 calendar months from the date of certification. If you have specific questions or need further assistance contact your Network.

Q: At what point do I need to re-take the exam?
A:

If you passed it the exam – it does not need to be retaken; however, you must maintain the minimum 8 hours of qualified CPE every 24 months to maintain your CTGA designation.
